For me, 'Crystal Ball' is quite scary. The orchestration, the helium vocals, the lyrics about 'bombs explode/hate advances on the right' and the screaming...it's pretty terrifying. I'd also throw both 'The Cross' and the 7 minute version of 'Computer Blue' into the running.

never thought it was disturbing or disturbed, susan rogers didn't either, she supported him releasing it as a single, dumb idea.

As other have already said, Others Here With Us but i would call that haunting not scary.

Chris Moon told a story that he thinks Prince saw a ghost when sleeping over at his studio in the early days. Apparently someone hung themselves there previously, and it was supposed to be haunted...

i remember a story about a hanging person and a ghost, don't remember it being Prince who saw it though. I'd have to check poplife.
