According to the article it was the day before he left for the shoot that his son died!!!! Wow - I always found this show difficult to watch as I thought he lost his son after the show was filmed as he looked so happy and "child like" during the show It was obviously some kind of "therapy" for him acting as a kid and it clearly took his mind off his personal loss, or hopefully helped him cope with it somehow

Or maybe he was doing it FOR his son. Thank you for posting this, it was enlightening and sweet. I'm loving all the tiny insights into him. A part of me feels like if I soak up every little thing that it can fill the wound.......a way of being with him. I am an empath and it's very uncomfortable to have people look you directly in the eye. It's intimate. I don't know if he was an empath, but I do think that his eyes were indeed windows to his soul that he tried to protect. Like if you stare at him, you are trying to 'take' something from him, depending on the intention of your stare. Hard to explain, especially on this board. But thank you O.P. for bringing it here, I always wondered where the farmer outfit from photo's was from.

I already read this elsewhere but thanks a lot for posting it. Articles like this one should be read by as many fans as possible, and such articles should be somehow archived here on the org for future references or reading. A very touching article. I´m a big Muppets fan, and I´ve always enjoyed Prince´s part in the Muppets show, I think it was great acting considering who he is, and it showed some more of his childlike and funny side. It´s remarkable that he was still able to function and be professional under such tragic circumstances. He also did that Emancipation concert at Paisley around the same time and of course the Oprah show.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Aww, this is so sweet. I love hearing good things about the man from folks that really wouldn't have anything to gain by lying.

it might have been her miscarriage. remember she said they lost Amir in 10/96 and then she got pregnant again. also, some shows are not live, they are shot and held in the can until their scheduled airdate. Prince #MUSICIANICONLEGEND
