I dislike the sound (producion) do this album so much that I find it hard to listen to most of the songs. There are some great tracks, but even them sound largely lifeless... I remember back at in the day playing Damened if I Do to a friend and him asking me if Prince was trying to sound like the Spice Girls... Anyway, my tracklist: 1. Jam of the Year 2. One of my favourites, I recently compiled a Best-Of Emancipation and it ran to 19 tracks of no filler goodness. A very good triple, but a dynamite double. Any album with the likes of My Computer, Slave, Courting Time, In this Bed, Dreaming About You, The Love we Make..is something special indeed. | |

On vinyl... Side 1: "The Holy River". Side 2: "Slave". A 7" single. The only two tracks I like on "Emancipation". His most disappointing album for me. |
