You do realize they asked him do accept them a more than once and he said no up until just before he died, right? Besides, they're basically saying he's so good a self taught musician, he has earned a doctorate, alive or dead. It wouldn't have done him any good alive either, not really. | |

As someone else stated, this was in the works prior to his death. Prince would have known about it and signed off on it. I think it wonderful that he's getting a an honorary doctorate from the U of MN. | |
