If Paisley Park is made into a museum, I think the stage could easily be assembled & displayed in the sound stage area. All sorts of displays can be worked around it (it's a big space), and other items could be on the stage (motorcycles, other set pieces, etc). I'd not let anyone on the stage, but build a second level (almost like a balcony or cat walk or bridge) around the perimeter so one can look down on the stage to see things. It'd let folks get a good perspective of the size of it and the sound stage area.

Also, the band area could be roped off, and folks could come up from under the stage to stand in just that area and look out (in the O part of the symbol).

Alternatively, his instruments could be set up in that area of the stage, along with his guitars along the main strip of it, his piano on the curly part (as it was most times), all for display. It could probably be built a bit closer to the ground, for easier viewing. It's a prime piece of equipment to use for displaying whatever.

I'd like to see it used repeatedly as a penetrating object on the people that can't stop posting speculation threads.

Lol. I know and sometimes I want to throw in a random theory in these speculation threads to throw everyone off but I don't have that wild of an imagination like some folks have here.

I like OF4S idea, since P is not coming back before the return of Christ, anyway Christ suppose to his believers to a new earth, right? Thats another thread, just had to throw that in there.

Anyway OF4S is better than destroying / burning it!

I went to the Bowie exhibt a few times and I would love to see something like that for Prince. I thought it was really well done. That stage would make a great display area. No one else should play on that stage.

In the meantime the using it as penatrating object is also a good idea.

The Lord don't think of some of us as "Wannabe Hacks"!

One of my favorite parts of the Bowie IS presentation was how the sound bites and commentary on the headphones changed as you walked through the exhibit. Maybe throw in some Prince holograms on the stage for extra flava and we'd be set.

He invited people to get up and dance on that stage during shows. I think it would be cool to let people on it for a heavily supervised, fleeting second or two.
