Look up word "sexy" and no doubt you'll find a pic of Prince. ......I bet macho men all over the world were puzzled by how such a tiny man, that wore high heels and makeup, could get so many women to fall in love with him!

Prince was always sexy in my book. I still remember the 1st time I saw a picture of him back in 1978. I was in 7th or 8th grade. One of my classmates had a copy of Right On! magazine and Prince was in it. I thought that he was the cutest guy ever!!

This is such a cool question because ordinarily I think men are most sexy at 30. Like that's the hottest age you can be. Mature but youthful. However I hate straightened flat hair. So funnily enough 1988 would've missed it for me. If I remember the lovesexy album cover...straight hair. That's a Nope for me. So it would have to be right after that hairstyle during diamonds and pearls era 33 (and he still looked like this in the 7 music video)Or right before that SOTT. 29... I mean Lrc 1982 was cute and all but I like a real grown up look. He was 24 but looking 17 in Lrc... I was born in 1985 so I don't know anything about this lol. I'm also partial to 30. No matter the Β©οΈ, Paisley Park "official can never β’οΈ . He gave that to us verbally on Oprah in 1996. You can't take away from us, corporate. I mean O ( + >

To me, some of his highlights were ~ 26 - that asymmetrical, curly hair and raw, purple, lacey sex appeal! sigh! 28 - Christopher Tracy, playful Parade tour stage presence and the cute short hair good grief! 33 - Cream music video, cool confidence and a bangin' hair and facial hair combination. such an irresistable bitch! 48 - sophisticated, stylish and smiling he seemed genuinely happy which is very attractive 54 - mini fro and sunglasses or gold mask. coy but just eminated an authentic sexiness. on fire

AzorAhai said: I was never attracted to him, but I'm a straight dude. However...I thought he was the coolest cat to ever walk the earth, and I'd probably say Graffiti Bridge +/- 1 year. I don't know why but your comment made me cry. That was such a cool thing for a straight guy to say about another man...

He was always beautiful and radiated such an aura inside as well as out....but even in 2010 video where he is performing Purple Rain in Milan he is devastatingly beautiful...and @ 51....

But would we have thought Prince as a sexy man if he were bald? Would Prince have the same attitude as a performer? This is a guy who sang about his love for his hair! I think he drew as much inspiration from his ass as he did his hair .

Always! But definitely this first photo. "that asymmetrical, curly hair and raw, purple, lacey sex appeal" good description. Also with his straight long hair doing Electric Chair on SNL (just as I typed Electric Chair....Electric Love came on)

Loved him on the Larry King show so he was 41, gorgeous. But he really had so many eras that he was gorgoues. On Black Sweat he is so elegant, Cary Grant like. Purple Rain era for his child like qualities. Just a wholly beautiful man at any age. Just the last copule of years that there seemed to much sadness in is beautiful eyes. It breaks your heart to think he went through everything alone I guess because he never trusted enough. God please hold him tight let him be loved. admission is easy, just say U believe, then come 2 this place in your heart.

BINGO! You found me screen saver photo. That long hair, baggy sweater in the fall. Gorgeous. admission is easy, just say U believe, then come 2 this place in your heart.

I love to see positive topics.
This is so hard!
I fell in love with him in 2004, so that look has a permenant appeal. Maybe DirtyMind/Controversy in 2nd place. Then Purple Rain Era.

This guy was sexy for his entire existence, but anytime he was bearded, those levels were exponential. So, for me...ages 30-41. Loved the Keith Urban look with the soul patch that he rocked from '97-98. Also, loved these last few years when grew his fro back out.

Purple Rain Era - the Darling Nikki scene in the movie is so hot and sexy, and he was so buff w/o his shirt. Dirty Mind/Controversy for the similar reason of having more meat on his bones. But he was gorgeous at every age no matter what style he was working just because he was so smooth, graceful and cool. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

Me too. I like Prince with specs. Another favourite for me is the Sign of the Times cover, again his wearing specs. I don't know if he needed glasses or if they were just a prop but he suited them.

He was sexy 'til the day he died. But I think he was MOST sexy during the Purple Rain era.

Looking at the pic thread for the last six weeks *cough*, it's much easier to say what era I didn't like then which one is the most sexy. He was always a beautiful man. I just think as he got older he couldn't/didn't want to ooze so much for multiple reasons so he toned it down. In the last couple of years in pictures anyways, he went from ageless to well preserved and "omg I feel funny looking at you" to "easy on the eyes".
I didn't like 93-95; something about those looks--bugged. Maybe it was the hair? Maybe it was his fight with Warner Brothers?

24 - the 1999 era is when he looked the coolest to me followed by SOTT (age 29). I think he thought so too as he showed a photo from the 1999 era during the ONA Everlasting Now segment, when he sings "I knew this dude he was very cool..."
