So let me just say that I have disliked Lovesexy for 20 years but last night about 1am I was bored and went to Youtube and watched a 2 hour Lovesexy concert and I must say that concert was amazing and just from watching it I now realize that I missed alot by not feeling the Lovesexy vibe I mean Prince on the blue angel, Cat dancing and Sheila E....just too lovely So a big thank you to those Youtube fairies for posting that concert.

It's true...Ive been reading alot of the comments and most of them are positive. Seems Prince missed some more fans by not being on there. Kinda makes me sad. Think about all the younger people who couldve become his fans

Seems to me that a lot of his songs are better when he does them live. Youtube has also helped because I now have images to go along with many of the songs and Prince's imagery was usually awesome. He was truly an artist in every way.

Aww this is very sweet. The live performances on there are just awesome. Ive been like a kid in a candy store and the interviews...just awesome.

Man he was so annoyed when we brought that ish up. I was looking down my Twitter timeline and noticed a tweet I made to him about my students' projects(I'm a music teacher) and how I played his music in class and my students always love it but when they try to go find his stuff on their own to study it they can't find it. Because 14-18 year olds(I teach college and dual credit high chool college courses) pretty much use Youtube exclusively for music exploration.

I hardly ever tweeted him( I'm a pragmatic fam), especially with all of his tweeting and deleting but sometimes I had to because I think he was thinking about everything all wrong. No one wanted him to give in to BS industry trends or not make the amount of money he deserved. We just wanted everyone to know and love his music like we do. I also think it had something to do with not getting the masters straightened out until 2014, if he wasn't making money off the work then no one else should have either, which I understand. When he started leaving a few things up, like the 3rdEyeGirl vids, I was so relieved to have a bit of something to show. Everything being up now is so bittersweet, I got so many Final Projects on Prince,more than I have before , but the music was easily available to the kids for all of the wrong reasons.

Better late than never! Lovesexy was my fav arena concert he ever did. I had second row seats to the concert in LA, Ca.!

I've always said that Lovesexy show is the best show. It's my favorite tour.

-I love listening to the rehearsals, and seeing the behind the scenes footage of the rehearsals!

-I love the aesthetics( I want that freaking Blue Piano and the Blue Angel, and the outfits!!!!)

-the 360 stage

-the best versions of The Cross and Anna Stesia live are from this show. A whole stadium singing Love is God, God is Love....my goodness!

-That split he hits in Housequake every.single.time.

-The arrangements are INSANE.

-I love that band, I love Cat, I love Boni! Ugh I love me some Lovesexy.

I was in a musical back in the day and we had to design our own costumes, why did I design a pair of pants with my character's name down the side in sparkly letters like the Lovesexy show fits LMAO.

Brilliant show - number one on my list of shows I wish I had seen live.

That Dortmund show is not even a great example of a Lovesexy concert. I loved that tour but I don't like that show or video that much.

I never liked the in-the-round setup that Prince liked so much. I saw a bunch of USA Lovesexy shows and maybe it was good for me for that tour because I had a better view, even when I had bad seats but sitll prefer traditional stage setup.

I actually saw the tour in Los Angeles in 1988. It was one of the most amazing shows I've still ever seen in my life. Watching the Dortmund video years later brought back such wonderful memories, and now there's a Toronto video out there, too.
