"Esseintial Prince" in this month's Q Magazine

Towards the back of this month's Q Magazine (the one with Madonna on the front), there are two pages of what Q regard as essential Prince albums to own, and a couple to miss. Whilst I don't agree with much of it, it's still nice to see our man spread across two pages of a popular mag smile

Now, wait a second I didnt say nutn how did that happen, pardon me.

Here is what I do wanna say...
Would b nice to C a picture of PRINCE the business man
Sitn behind his Office Desk with a PEN in hand and a kinda look of "Oh U don't know what Im doin but ...U gonna like it".

or just a Business look with a black outfit...and perhaps a gray shirt under it...shiny like...and him not lookn at the camera...but signing something...IT's the signature of signing something that is the agreement with the picture...Deep thought moment...so go lighter...if U can.

LOL...be nice be have and B u. PLEASE lol.

OK, it's on pages 130-131 for those who want a quick peek in the newsagent without buying it.

They rate them as follows:

Indespensable "Truly Exceptional" - Purple Rain and Sign O The Times

Excellent "Must Buy" - Parade, Around the World in a Day and Diamonds and Pearls

Good "But not for everyone" - 1999, Prince, Dirty Mind, Controversy

Approach with caution "Please be careful" - Lovesexy, Batman, Graffitti Bridge and Symbol

Poor "For collectors only" - Come

Classic Compilation - The Hits/The B-Sides

I wonder why the Q writers have such an affection for Diamonds And Pearls, they gave it 5/5 when it came out but its mediocre and it's dated badly. as for Lovesexy being approach with caution good god that's a bit off. Disappointed not to see The Gold Experience in there. I would've but that in the Excellent category.

WHAT? heresy. Come is right there with The Gold Experience for best P album of the 90's. It's light years ahead of D&P.

For collectors only??: Chaos & Disorder. A few good tunes, but weak overall.
