They do indeed sound great! Prince in the NOW. Loose, creative, improvisational, fun. It's the Prince I love listening to.

Fantastic stuff.

These were from 4 different shows at Paisley Park and not rehearsals.

That was a bittersweet listen last night. There was still a lot of music to be played.

I do think the new tracks on MixCloud show what Prince likes to do when just hanging out with friends. It's a great insight into the man at play.

That was funny! Jon Bream from the Star Tribune had written an article that week asking those questions. Which was kind of odd, because he knew Prince had been inviting fans to Paisley Park for nearly 25 years.

These sessions are great. Love the relaxed, loose, funky jamming. Feels like you're in his living room. Here's a thought that occurred to me, ever wonder how many hours of music produced (studio or live) during his career (1978 on)? I ran it through my calculator and if he averaged 8 hours of studio and stage time per day that entire 38-year run it would come to 110,960 hours! Quality notwwithstanding, gotta believe the majority of that is on tape somewhere, especially from 1984 or so on. Talk about treasures yet to discover! Love and, God damn, miss this man.
