Question about a rare npg exodus album cd case

Years ago on eBay there was a rare round plastic case for the npg exodus album. It looked like the round case for the crystal ball album. Was it real? I can't find it anymore and I can't find pictures of it.

I wonder if it was just the CD w/ no case in general that someone was trying to hock. Discogs doesn't list it. The only variation showing on there is a 200 print promo with a purple label, and no case. It was for Australia only.
