A good approach would be an extended medley of songs where Prince associates would pair with younger artists like D'Angelo, Bruno Mars, Janelle, Erika, Miguel, maybe Justin Timberlake and Usher. They would sing his songs backed by the Revolution, the NPG and The Time, or maybe a young band or two, like they did for a Sly Stone tribute a few years ago:

Yes, and I remember all of those years of them playing music videos that disrespected women. When people referred to it as Black Exploitation Television. I expect it to be as awful -- if not moreso -- than the Billboard tribute.

It would be TREMENDOUS if they added a medley of some of his newer music like FunkNRoll & RNR Love Affair and such for some people to perhaps take interest and want to purchase his last two releases as well as the classics

I don't have VH1 either Although I do think it came in the same programming package with BET.

I am not going to watch it. None of them can do him justice. No one in the world could. I thought Bruce Springsteen's rendition of "Purple Rain" was the best thus far, by an artist of Prince's caliber.
