I'm impressed that she's actually singing - and not horribly. Not great by any means, but not horribly.

This is fairly tasteful, if predictable (the choice of song, the purple jumpsuit (which I like), the purple effects, the photo montage).

I have a feeling she's gonna get crucified in some circles but ths is fine. Adding Stevie was great.

Will be interesting to see what sort of tribute the Grammys do next year, since they have 10 months to prepare. Also BET Awards and Soultrain Awards - excited to see what they'll do.

I ain't mad at it, although they could have skipped "Purple Rain". Otherwise, it was simple, and to the point. Nothing compares 2 .

I turned that on for the last ten minutes and was far more lame of a tribute than I could have even imagined.
