I know there are lots of well known tear jerkers out there but this unreleased song from 1992 I find really moving. It shows his deep and caring side where he is singing to an abandoned child saying that 'I'll be your Papa now'.

I personally find this, Open Book, Purple Rain, Sometimes It Snows In April and Power Fantastic the most emotional songs Prince has done (that have been released or leaked so far).

Go on youtube and listen to a song Prince wrote for another artist named Martica. But Prince has sang this song in various concerts. The name of the song is " Love Thy will Be Done". You will cry your eyes out when you hear him sing that song. The lyrics are so deep. So beautiful.

Oh yes I've heard that, great lyrics, but I find that quite uplifting due to the message. I also like 'Spirit' which is also very uplifting!

For me it's 'The Love We Make'-especially when he starts singing ' Sacred is the prayer that asks for nothing...'

Also, 'The Ladder' rehearsal on the piano (in LA?) when he sings 'what will be now, what it was, and who will go'. The sound of his voice is heart-breaking in its sense of loss, abandonment and loneliness.
