What Prince Songs Appear On Two Different Albums?

.

I'm thinking of official studio album releases. Not live stuff or greatest hits compilations. What Prince songs appear on two different Prince albums?

.

- "The Dance"

- "Loose!"

- "Dark"

- "P Control"

.

Has to be others I'm missing.

The Dance was only on 3121. The first version wasn't on an album proper that I know of.

It was first released in March 2004, then on 3121. So whether an album or not, it was released. The re-recorded version is about 40 seconds longer.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Crystal Ball had a few of those:
Lovesign
So Dark
Tell Me How U Want 2 Be Done (=The Continental)
Good Love (although I'm not sure that one counts because Bright Lights Big City wasn't a Prince album.)
Does Girl 6 count as a Prince album? Because that would add a few titles to the list.

As a fun side note, there's at least a couple of different songs w/ the same title that he's written. "Girl", as a b-side, and for The Time.

.

He has two songs called "17". One is "Penetration" from the aborted Madhouse, the next is from 1.800.New.Funk, also credited to Madhouse.

.

Same with "7". Madhouse tune, and a track from the prince album.

.

"New Power Soul" was a track on Exodus and NewPowerSoul, both NPG albums.

.

Albeit with different spellings, "Get Off" on the "New Power Generation" EP, and then "Gett Off" (which sampled the former) on Diamonds and Pearls.

.

There are probably more.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Also, I assume "Sticky Wicked" from Chaka Khan, and Eric Leeds, is the same track.

Different track altogether. Eric Leeds's version is an instrumental!

Crystal Ball. It was a Club Mix. There were other versions released on The Versace Experience, which was an unreleased promo cassette, but give to people who attended a Versace collection during fashion week in Paris, 1995. This one was an edit of the Club Mix on "P. Control (promo)". It's a slightly different mix than the mix on Crystal Ball.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

17 was also retitled "newshour with Tamron Hall" or something. Miss Hall, on the first day of a new show she had on MSNBC, intro'd the song with some strange title and said that Prince had recommissioned it or something for her and her new show. She was speaking as if it was a new song, but it was clearly '17'...from way back when...prolly when Tamron was still in H.S. I don't know how old she is.

Edit: well after checking...she was apparently 23 when song was made as she was born in 1970 and the song came out in '93.
