I posted a similar thought in the Bodyguard thread, but thought this topic needed a thread of it's own. With all of us waiting on autopsy results we have seen all kinds of speculation from his health to opiod addiction, etc.

However, I do not want this thread to be about that. Anyone who has been invested in Prince the man, the artist has had their life touched on a very fundamental, profound level. For most of us, his music, which was very personal to him was the soundtrack to our lives. We shared his journey in a very intimate way and he was very fond of us - his supporters.

We all need to stop feeding the beast with the anger, sadness, fear and disappointment that we feel. We need to try to be patient and tolerant with one another. We have all lost a member of our FAMILY. Prince was family and I understand that there are those that say the circumstances of his death are none of our business, but we all need closure. The results will come soon enough...let's just remember the man and his legacy and take comfort in the fact that we were alive at the same time he was.
