I have no idea. But, as far as my personal preference is concerned, I´d rather see something from former bandmembers or ex-wives, not business associates or family members. The last two don´t strike me as very informed as far as his work and his career are concerned. I´d much rather read some background stories regarding the post WB years than some gossip and old anecdotes. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! The ex wives arent talking. #1 because regardless of however their marriages ended they both really do seem to respect and value him. Also I'd be very surprised if an ironclad NDA werent part of their divorce settlements. The NDA would probably still be valid with the estate. Who ever writes a "tell-all".... would lose credability BIG TIME speaking on someone who's passed and can't confirm the info. So my guess is someone who doesn't need that cred..... If wife number 2 would do it, she's got to live the REST of her married life with that other guy... knowing she's the type to write a tell all.. soooo... hmmmm Mayte, is probably more inclined, being she's already put stuff up on the auction block. However, I"m not sure she's malicious or meant harm. I dont know why, I just don't. If anyone else besides longtime band mates, well thats questionable from the get-go... I would be lying if I said I"d not read it. I know I would. My curiousity gets the better of me most times. | |

I think mayte will too, she may have already even had offers. Since prince never got to finish his memoir I think someoe close to him will write a book. [Edited 5/11/16 10:51am] Baby, you're a star.

those books will be inevitable. Elvis had a million written on him. Several girlfriends, his ex, his so called best friends. I'm surprised Michael hasn't had more, but it's a different era too, people read a lot less. | |

As long as the book isn´t slanderous I don´t see a reason why they (ex-wives, ex-bandmembers ) should not write a book. Dez wrote a book and had no malicious thoughts. also, i know that many fans don't want to read anything with any negativity, i loved the RS article that recently interviewed his old band members. Prince ran a tight ship and at least in terms of getting the band right, it really worked. | |
