I hope it is his son. Better than the kooks splitting it up six or seven ways. It easier for people like Sheila E. and others close to Prince to deal with one person when it comes to preserving his legacy. Do you really think Prince had much to do with Tyka and the other half siblings?

If the siblings realize that they can make more money if they hire people who know business and music handle the details, they just collect the check without a worry in the world. The most difficult decisions would be in the beginning finding the right people to trust to start the process. I'd hope they have enough sense to not screw up an opportunity like this. They preserve his legacy with grace and dignity, good karma will flow through them. Surprise, surprise.

I'd rather take my chances with people who actually knew him even if they weren't on speaking terms than someone with deep seeded anger issues and absolutely no knowledge or contact in this entertainment world. I could give a damn about some long lost babies now. I want what this man worked for to have a chance to stand and not be gobbled down and shat out. [Edited 5/9/16 22:45pm]

Just because this "son" hasn't been in the press or to fans knowledge doesn't mean Prince didnt know. If and I say if there is a chance this could be Prince's child he could of well known. You cant rule that out. If theres a "strong claim" without DNA then there must be some evidence.

Furthermore, I would actually be surprised if Prince didnt have some random child out there to be perfectly honest. Like statistically, shit happens folks. I agree with both of you. Nothing new around here though. I'm not discounting this guy's claim until the paternity results proves whether or not he is Pronce's son. His complexion will not be the deciding factor. It will be the DNA from the paternity test that will decide. Furthermore, if one looks at Prince's pics from his young years of wearing the Afro, and this guy's features, you can almost, (not saying he is his son) make the comparison. Tyka, Prince's sister is a fair-skinned Black woman and her sons are the complexion of their father, so it would not be surprising if this young man claiming to be Prince's son, took on his mother's complexion. Remember that this apparently happened back in 1976 and Prince was very young, and I'm sure fans would not have any idea all the females he had as girlfriends or acquaintances before he became well known as a musician. Not to mention, Prince's father was not a light-skinned, Black male, he was brown-skinned. Prince snd Tyka just happened to take on their mother's complexion. This is not unusual among Black families. I am also surprised at the comments that came from some Black orgers regarding the impossibility that this person can't be Prince's son based on his complexion. All we can do is wait and see.Give the guy a fair chance. Furthermore none of us knows if Prince was aware of his existence, and had an agreement with the mother to keep it quiet. If it turns out that he isn't, well then so be it, but we should at least wait for the paternity results to be the determining factor before throwing insults and doubt towards the guy, and just leave the complexion issue out of it. Maybe he knew and kept it private. Just like we didn't see most of his siblings coming out over the years and doing interviews about him. Maybe the mother signed a confidentiality document and was probably getting support money to keep quiet. Maybe he wanted to save the child from public scrutiny. Look what's already happening to this person claiming to be his son. First reports said the claimant told the investigators he didn't really wanted to be shown in public, I guess he meant photographed once he made the claim. If he is on social media, I wouldn't be surprised if he's getting all kinds of venom, insults hate, etc., from some crazy Prince fans. No one knows for sure if it's true, so that has to be left up to the paternity test. If he is not his son, then so be it. I just saw an article that so far, 700 people are claiming they are Prince's siblings. Go figure. [Edited 5/10/16 10:39am]

I get what people are saying; just because he's dark doesn't mean he isn't Prince's son. But, guys...
Guys...
LOOK AT HOW DARK THIS DUDE IS AND LOOK AT HIS MOTHER!!! Everybody in his thread KNOWS Prince did not like dark women. He had nothing to do with his mother, and, of all dispositions, I find it hard to believe that any son of Prince would end up a rapping thug sitting in prison!!! Plus, the dude isn't even handsome - he seems to have inherited absolutely NONE of Prince's traits. His dad is some drug dealer. [Edited 5/10/16 10:55am]
