I'm really not watching news, reading headlines on the internet, looking at print media or anything these days. The only news I've heard is from here or what people have told me verbally. Not the best way to cope, but it's best for me right now. GD would help though. No apologies necessary.

Assuming this were legit, I couldn't speak to the mindset up until he was 18, but from that point forward, there would have been no point to a paternity suit, as he wouldn't legally be entitled to anything, and as for preserving status as an heir, Prince could have simply written a will to exclude him. The only reason his biological status today would have any legal relevance is if Prince did indeed die without a will.

Unless they have some interim publicity plans, there's really no point in claiming false paternity. They have Prince's blood on file. There's no "settlement" value if your claim isn't legit. Why waste attorneys fees that will never be reimbursed?
