A song by The The--"This is the Day" has been playing in my head often when I think about Prince. The lyrics are falsely optimistic and the music sad but pleasant. About staying up all night, pondering what changes should be made, determined to be different, but nothing is actually going to change-- you just feel it in the song. I wonder what he was thinking about as he passed.
