I've just listened to this song a couple of minutes ago, it sounds quite interesting.

Today I listed to the first Prince song I heard, and the song that made me an immediate fan. I heard in on the radio and ran straight to the Wrecka Stow to get it. It was late '79. I Wanna Be Your Lover. Listening to it on the way home from work...he sounded so young. He WAS so young.

I Love U In Me has been in my head for about 8 days, now. Go figure, the only song of his I could happily never hear again. I only listened to it once, and my immediate response was to joke with my friend -- also a Prince lover -- that that man needed to get laid right after putting that song in the Vault, never to be heard again. This whole time for me has been jokes to deal with how horrible it is to have lost a personal hero.

I am tryna tellya, ILUIM (good God, there are many jokes in that acronym alone) is just all the info about Prince I never wanted... I nope it every time it shows up on my iPod, or I start giggling like a maniac.

Ironic, though, that I've also managed to counteract it with 'Come' -- also Too Much Information, but somehow it doesn't give me the willies.

Oh man. I'ma just go do something else, now...

For some reason earlier I was thinking of how much the acronym GOAT amuses me. It always sounds to me like people are calling their favorite a goat. (For the less Internet-addicted, it stands for "Greatest of All Time.") And then bam, just like that, "The Greatest Romance" hopped in my brain for a ride. I don't think I've listened to that one in years...

Adore. It's a really perfect song which builds to a crescendo.

'Empty Room'.......lately, it's always 'Empty Room.' The vision of the low lights and his frame, along with the music, never leave me.

The Future, particularly the excellent percussion. I've been on a Batman kick lately for whatever reaosn.
