How bout this- I can separate the fan in me from the citizen in me and I see it this way: If he went out because he was a celebrity and had money therefore got drugs at a pace or in an amount that is illegal for me, I want to know who was giving it to him because they belong behind bars. My doctor won't give me shit. I go to the doctor, I can't move my neck or can't get my shoes on because im in excruciating pain- and they tell me "well maybe buy an ice pack, have you considered massage?" it's my right as a tax payer to see to it if people broke the law they pay the consequences. if a crime occurred. Damn right I want some answers because I don't think it's right some people in this country get Cadillac health insurance because of their fame. The majority of the time it takes them from us early but the doctor stil gets his piece of the pie. If it was due to an underlying disease that he didn't want us to know, then HIPAA should be invoked and we don't get to know. If the family comes out and says: the tox screen came back, he died of "natural" reasons no matter what it is, I think fams should understand that we don't need to know more. We can finally rest knowing things just happened as nature intended and wasn't accelerated as a result of bad, possibly illegal, professional advice. Sorry but that article was rude to post here. I don't care that this author doesn't feel connected to Prince the way I am. Then don't come here and watch us cry. You think a tribute is lame, no one is forcing you to watch. It's easier than you think to unplug and not listen to certain groups you don't care to hear. "Ultimately, no one can dictate who you are to people." Let us grieve this man we've never met. Does it hurt YOU in any way? Why are people so cruel to one another these days? The anonymity of the Internet sure brings out the worst of people... Surprise, surprise.
Another treat. Another trick. | |
