in fact, can you imagine Prince coming out his front door, confronted with a bunch of us orgers? Him looking at us with those eyes and us saying "we're doing this because we love you." The briefing before hand "don't look in his eyes. whatever you do, don't look in his eyes!!!" Him kicking and fighting and us being like "you'll thank us later!" fast forward five years later, all of us in prison, smiling and listening to the new album, giving each other looks in the caf, knowing we made that happen?


Ha ha what a lovely scenario, if only we'd thought of that a month ago! And I definitely wouldn't mind going to jail for such a good cause !

From a distant personal perspective I would simply have to say thankyou for your integrity and strength.
The last 30 yrs have been very economically and socially battering as people on the right have tried to deconstruct the dreams of a post war society. Intentionally or otherwise Prince held onto those virtues. Yes he had his lies but recently he was respected beyond anything.
Yes we may all be projecting but boy if I'm deluded about the essence of Prince, I've picked an amazing delusion. Love you. Crying x

I'd simply say thank you for sharing that bright light and that talent, thank you for helping me during the bad times and for being with me during the happy times and for helping me find God again when I had lost my faith. His music had that effect on me, as I'm sure it did for many people.
