It would be the lllloooonnnngggest minute in history!
I just want to hold and study his hands - those hands and those fingers that hold the pen to write the music, that have strummed the guitar strings, played the piano and held the drumsticks to drop the beat. And I know this is original - thank him for everything.
And if I could speak to him as a friend, I would tell him that he needs to somehow find a way to take a break and take care of himself because he won't be able to create anymore music if he's not here -(oh, here come the tears) and that he has a whole army of people that will support and hold him up - as you do for people that you love.
Finally, I would turn his positivity and love back to him and make him take his own advice and love himself as much as we love him.

It wasn't "addiction"! He was taking medicine for extreme pain. He didn't take this stuff to feel "high". There IS a difference. Anyone who is in chronic pain, day after day after day, understands this.
If I could have just one more minute with Prince, I would say: "Let's look for a Pain Management Doctor!!! ASAP!!! I will help you find someone!!!"
Rest In Peace Prince. We will NEVER forget you.
