Federal authorities join Prince's death investigation by Associated Press: Federal investigators have joined the investigation into the death of music superstar Prince, the U.S. attorney for Minnesota's office said.
A statement from that office said it and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) would assist Carver County Sheriff's investigators.
"While this remains an ongoing investigation, we will have no further comment."
The official cause of death remains undetermined, with the results of an autopsy and toxicology tests pending.
