Things Prince could have mouthed to Shelia E..... That could have come off as "Marry Me"
We all know Prince had a great sense of humor
Here's my list:
"Mini me" "Carry me" "Stay on beat"

During the first US show of the Lovesexy Tour, he mouthed "I Love You" to her at one point. I can't remember if it was during Purple Rain or another song, but it stuck in my head.

You all need to let up. She wouldn't have lasted as long as she did if there wasn't something special between them. Y'all just mad it wasn't you.

Or are you mad because you have no sense of humor?

I think it's rediculous, honestly, that she is being paraded around as his former fiancée. CNN could devote an hour to all of his women.
There may have been something special between them at one point but she was also forbidden from even stepping foot in PP during one falling out.

He saw Larry Graham in the audience and, looking happy and excited, mouthed Larry G. The wooh is on the one!

She stepped out of nowhere, after his passing, practically speaking for him in his absence, as if she is his widow. It was all the more bizarre, as she'd seemingly burned all her bridges with him, when she'd published that book, two years ago. I don't doubt that she's grieving and deeply upset. But I do doubt that she has any real idea of what Prince in 2016 wanted or didn't want.

THIS!!!Thank you, I was afraid to say that I felt like this. My husband and I actually talked about this yesterday, I was reading her lastest article (honestly I don't know why I do. Maybe just to see what she says next.) and I must have been making faces because my husband asked my what had my panties in such a twist? I said something similar. That I feel like she's trying to play the role of his grieving widow and all the fams know that they had a falling out seemingly over that book, plus their relationship hadn't been anything but platontic for YEARS. While I don't doubt that she is honestly grieving and devestated, I just find this whole kind of *role* she is playing disingenuous. I don't think she has any idea what he wanted, and I honestly don't think opinon matters anymore...at all. "I do nothing professionally, I do everything for fun."

Ya'll wrong on so many levels. Lol Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I think it's more like we love her dearly and we hope she finds the strength to stop helping the press paint her as an opportunist during a time when most get a pass for being ruled by their emotions.

Just 3 weeks ago and beyond Sheila E was a goddess around here and reigned supreme as far as his former assosiates/protegés go Give her a break. Imagine all the heartache and regret she has to be dealing with I can appreciate that she's upset. But it's not just a case of grief-stricken fans randomly lashing-out at her. You know what my first thoughts were, after I'd gotten over the initial shock of Prince's passing?... "At least we have The Vault." You can think that's selfish, or tasteless, or entitled - but it's a natural reaction to believe that a part of someone whom passes, will live on in some way. When many people close to us die you can think, "At least we'll see their children grow." Is that selfish??? We don't have that scenario with Prince, but we have the possibility of posthumous releases to look forward to... And then, within hours of his passing, someone who hasn't seemed close to him in years, and has made thinly-veiled disparaging remarks about him, is seen latching onto his family, and telling the media that the contents of The Vault shouldn't be released. It's downright scary to think that Tyka may heed her advice. That's where my discomfort with Sheila has arisen recently.

I can't believe that's what she takes to be a serious proposal!
Prince simulated oral with Wendy and even kissed her on stage but that didn't mean he was serious!!! [Edited 5/1/16 14:58pm]

Do the people on this site hate Sheila E? I've noticed in a lot of posts that she's hated on a lot. Personally, I think Prince loved Sheila E more than any of the women he was linked too. Yes they had disagreements throughput the years but if you notice, they always worked them out. She's the only one I've seen him with throughout the years.

I'm not hating on Sheila E. I think she's pretty cool. It's possible Prince proposed but how serious he was, who knows?
