I agree. I am sick of these Illuminati conspiracy theories and rumors about terminal illnesses. I can find that crap on TMZ, Yahoo and FB. This place can be a safe haven from that madness.

I think it's worth us posting the fact that "X" bullcrap rumor is being spread by "Y" bullcrap outlet. If nothing else it can be good for us to know that the rest of us are calling bullshit on whatever rumor. That said, rather than endless threads I would suggest a single sticky depository. That way anyone who would rather ignore than call out such rumors can relax and peruse the threads without having to see the crap and those that want to be reassured that a rumor is crap have a place to go... Thoughts?

I suggest a TMZ thread, seperate to the rubbish. TMZ may have a trashy image, but they are usually always right, and even if they speculate it's usually because of information vetted from a trusted source. Other tabloid junk, like Daily Mail, random blogs, other illuminati stuff (and let's face it: soon probably even the Fortean Times) that actually is rubbish, could be put in an "absurdities and craziness" thread.

I have been leary of TMZ since the plan thing, they seemed to want to make Prince out as a drug addict. But everything that have posted or said has been fairly true. I haven't heard any of the really crazy stories (AIDS, illumanti). Everything they say on CBS morning show came from TMZ. CBS had to pull back from the DEA being involved in the investigation. TMZ said that first.
