Unfortunately, the sh*t show is about to start. I don't care how he died. I don't care if he was hooked on drugs. I don't care about the inevitable fight over his estate. None of that changes the fact that he was a gift sent to us by god who did so much good in this world. We all have to keep on celebrating and remembering him for who he was. The important thing is for his music to be untarnished and accessible to us.

Maybe not having a will was intentional. He knew he couldn't control things after his death. He also probably figured that having a will would get in the way of his vault and catalog being shared with the world. Tyka will get the music out there.

Michael dancing, Amy high, and James Brown stirring it up telling every one that they stole from him..

Am I the only one that doesn't see this becoming a fight? Look at the family. Not once have you seen them in the news acting crazy.... hell Tyka was on drugs and a prostitute and not once have I heard her bad mouth her brother to the press like other stars families have done. Yes, he's gone and all hell could break lose, but I don't really see this happening with this family. It seems as though they are all very private.

Exactly. During his life here, they have behaved very respectful. And I don't see a reason why that will change.


For example, handing out the gifts to the fans at Paisley Park, was so beautiful. Really validating the grief of the fams.


Nobody has made one bad comment. So, I have faith in how they will handle this.

Unfortunately, bad medai channels will try everything to create some drama. But, they will not get it from his family and friends.

Yes, the Nelson family do seem very level headed and not at all dysfunctional like the Jacksons are!!!

It has always struck me how level headed and totally unaffected they are by Princes' fame!!

I honestly don't think I could have done this. Also.... for Tyka to go outside and greet his fans, says alot about her and the family. She in her time of grief took the time to walk out and let his fans know how much he loved them and thanks for loving him back. That broke my heart when I saw the video.

I'm also less worried abou the fight over his estate. Regardless of how his family handles it, there will be other vultures out there. There will be people that were partners in some of his other ventures that will claim they should get a piece, etc. No one with that amount of money avoids a fight about their estate. My grandmother died with anything and she had a will and my aunts and uncles still fought over worthless things.

But, I'm more worried about people trashing this great human being about potential drug use. He was a great man who may have been dealing with some underlying health issues. I take offense to anyone trashing the way he lived his life and the media has already started. Unfortunately, I think the autopsy report is not going to paint him in a favorable light. I hope otherwise, but I'm concerned.

Don't worry what dumb people think. They are dumb and their opinion means nothing. But yes it's annoying to me as well to have to listen to their cocaine addict aids victim nonsense. But we are stuck with them on this planet so just try to avoid them as much as possible.

I agree, no will means Prince was never bothered with the vault, didn't want it shut and has commented that he expects others to release it.
