What now...start a charitable trust and put up a statue please! This is the first time in almost 10 years that I've been brave enough to post a topic...so heartbroken still and probably will be for the rest of my life. I'm a musician and nurse and feel I wouldn't be either without Prince's influence to share love and positivity.
So, with the talk of no will comes as no surprise to me somehow. Even though he was 'business minded', in my opinion, I think perhaps he, as did we, hoped it would be a longer time before having to make this decision...irresponsible, maybe, but what ever happens to his music and possessions, I hope those in control remember how he tried to be a giving person... With that said, I'd like to try to pass a message to those that will take on this task to at least setup a charitable trust that funds social and artistic projects and provide scholarships, grants, and other means to continue to help deserving organizations and people. Besides protecting his music, this would be one of the best ways to honor him. I'm not sure if it's still around, but bringing back Love4oneanother would be one way. Also, a statue in Minnieappolis would be awesome too!!! It would be so great to make a pilgrimage to see it and have Celebrations again. So, this is my two cents. Writing this with tears in my eyes and a sinking feeling in my stomach. I wish U heaven Prince! [Edited 4/24/16 19:39pm]

Perhaps you are right...a cooler conceptual memorial would be great. After hearing how his JW Kingdom Hall doesn't have an image of him in the hall reminded me that we shouldn't worship his 'body' but his overall being.
