Taking wally to the grave
. Unless Susan Rogers can remember the melody in addition to the sparse lyric that she has already recited...The most beautiful song in the world has been lost forever, as the tape was erased and Prince and Susan were the only two in the studio.

and we have to be OK with that. It is not about us - he wanted that... we must respect his wishes as hard as it is .
Much love. Whatever you heard about me is true

Equally, there is just as much chance it exists as a home demo or later recording after Susan. It may have been reworked into another song and we don't know it. .

I've heard rumors that the music and melody were later used for Wedding Feast. No Candy 4 Me

I've heard he recorded it again just to have it but I doubt it's fully fleshed out and finished enough so we can hear it.

If it's lost, then how do you know it's beautiful?

She also really loved Moonbeam Levels, so there is good chance it was just as bad

"Moonbeam levels" is the minneapolis sound at it's essence. One of his best unreleased songs ever. I don't get why people here dislike it at all. The arrangement & imagery superb. BOB4theFUNK

I think Prince referred to Susan Rodgers as a stalker in the deleted Ebony magazine interview. Adds up to me.

I just posted about that on the thread about the vault.

I saw her on CNN and she mentioned Moonbeam was included in various different album configurations. And I could see why it never saw the light of day. If Prince wanted it out there it would. The nice thing is it has been widely available for over 20 years so anyone who loves it could easily find it.

indeed | |

He took a lot more than that, probably about 30 years worth of new songs we will never hear, but alas, even though we crave every ounce of his genius, and think about what could have been, he left us so much to continue to enjoy. Yeah, that. It's his best outtake, IMO. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

She could whistle or hum the melody to Dr. Fink or someone and they could recreate it. All you others say Hell Yea!!

She also hated Adonis&Bathsheba. I don't trust her judgement. The wooh is on the one!
