Today when I try I'm getting the page I see when a website no longer exists.

Please tell me this wonderful resource is not gone. I would understand the pain affecting the passion to continue, but please, we as fans will continue to cherish the information that site has provided us.

If indeed it is closing down, please let someone else continue the priceless work that has been done.

I don't know what's going on, but I would imagine it's an issue of bandwidth or something. The site probably got hit something awful in the last 24 hours. Give it a few days before you worry too much.

It would be the loss of an essential resource and research work. I hope the site will be back soon. The hard work its makers put in it is the best homage ever.

In fact I'm depressed enough as it is. Losing Princevault too is an idea I don't want to contemplate

The site is probably on a budget hosting plan, bombarded by the world googling everything Prince. I would be the site will return.

Bluegangsta posted something from PV's Facebook in another worried thread that's now sunk onto the second (and will soon be 3rd page)--but the gist was that their host couldn't handle the traffic and they're working on getting back online as soon as they can.
