Would you buy a 3rdeyegirl album without Prince?

Just wondered, if the girls carried on the band without their leader, would you check it out?

I think I'd give it a listen. Trouble is, the weakest tracks on Plectrum Electrum were the ones fronted by the girls.

Nope

.

But to be honest, I'm not even that fussed about seeing The Revolution without Prince either!

Therefore, no.

No. They still sounded like they hadn't quite figured out their sound yet and was still learning from the master.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I'd support associated artists projects. Prince is gone. I likely will support associated artists now more than ever.

What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

If there were tracks they worked on with Prince before his death? Absolutely.

If not? I'd check it out but doubt I'd be into it.

No, I wouldn't. And, I'm not overly interested in seeing old band members either. Prince was why I am a fan!

But still written by Prince. Contrary to others, I have no problem with Hannah's singing and I like Whitecaps (always reminds me of a South African beer brand), but a whole album full of it... Hmmm... Only if they found a good songwriter.

Why not? Prince believed in them. He saw enough that inspired him to make them a part of his musical family. I like knowing they have just begun their journey. They may have a long way to go, but that's what makes it all the more exciting. From what I saw, they were amazing live & certainly learned a few tricks from the master. razz

If it was songs that he wrote, I would. According to the amount of songs they cut together, there is another 9 albums worth ready to go, with Prince prob on most of the vocals.

Prince was bored and wanted something new. A new sound, a new form of inspiration. He didn't believe in them, he believed in himself... The girls were a means to an end, so to say.

I wasn't a fan of that LOUD band / period, but I would certainly give it a listen.

If there are Prince vocals on them, then I'm all for it. No Prince vocals and I'm not even a little bit interested. Especially as the most likely alternative is Hannah singing lead.

RIP sad
