We did a tribute video biography for Prince this morning. I'd like to share it with all of you here. Feel free to repost it as long as you credit it to 2btube and mention our twitter address which is @2b

His passing is a loss for all of us who loved his art, but we have enjoyed his art and will continue to do so. That is a great gift in itself.

Yesterday I mostly felt shocked by the news, but at 4am this morning my brain woke me up with thoughts of Prince, and I had a good cry. I haven't cried like that for any other celebrity. I thought David Bowie's death was rough, and I remember reassuring myself that Prince wouldn't die any time soon. I figured he'd be touring into his 90s. :'(

My dear, sweet Prince. I wish you Heaven. I was fortunate enough to see for the first time during the Purple Rain Tour when I was ten years old. And since that day my life changed FOREVER. You set the barometer in which I judged all music; no one ever came close. Your music carried me through the tough preteen and teenage years. Too many memories to recount right now, but I will always treasure the fact that I can always remember where I was or what I was doing upon the release of one of your annual gifts to us. My fortune continued as I was lucky enough to see you live many more times (11 TIMES!!). The last time I saw you live was during the 21 Nights at the Forum in Los Angeles. My wonderful husband got us seats at the front of the "glyph," for my birthday. At one point in the evening (during "Adore," actually), everything came full circle for me. The sad little boy who clung to your music for relief was now a full grown man in a happy marriage; something that I never even dreamed of. And there I was, listening to my musical hero, with my husband (another Prince freak) and I just started to cry and cry.

I don't post much; but I always lurk. This was the first place I went to after I found out. Even though the site had crashed, I just the left the page open. After I found out, I looked around the office, at my co-workers, and all the normal day to day shit, and I just couldn't. I grabbed my cars keys and took a mental day. Alone at home, I played Prince all day until I fell asleep sometime after midnight. It was too personal for me to share or talk to anyone.

To everyone here on the org. Thank you so much for the Prince community. And Thank You Ben.

Goodbye Prince. You will always be Immortal to me. Thanks for the music!

I almost passed out the first time I saw him on the last night at Wembley in 1986. I was on the verge of tears when the SOTT tour was cancelled the following year. I took my first overseas trip by myself to experience the opening night of the Lovesexy tour in Paris. I stood in the pouring rain for the opening night of the Nude tour in Rotterdam. I saw him countless times. But, now, I'll never see him again.

Thank you for the memories, Prince. There were times when your music helped me find hope when I thought there was none. And though it's too painful to listen to your music today, I know it'll continue to inspire me and so many others for years to come. Thank you for sharing your sublime gift.

Definitely. I'd appreciate it if you can let me know where we got it wrong.

I rarely post here anymore... but I think fondly of this place. Thanking Ben for creating this site and his dedication, and thankful for Prince... for without Prince and his great music and amazing persona, I would have never gotten to know such wonderfully crazy beautiful people. Some I cried with, laughed with, argued with, and consider family. You are all a joy, and I am so happy to be a part of this very special group. heart bheart cry dove grouphug

I've been on the Org since 1999. I'm so thankful for this community. Even when we bit each other's heads off, we were still united by our love for Prince and his art.

Yesterday was one of the strangest days of my life. Hooked to the TV and the internet, and receiving messages from family and friends all evening, I didn't let the news sink in.

When I woke up this morning, the sad realisation was already in my head. Prince is dead. There was not even a split second between waking up and remembering the news. Prince's passing became a reality right then.

I felt sad, very sad. But I'm a big, strong man, I can cope. Until I went online. Seeing all those amazing tributes, famous sites and monuments lit in purple, Obama's statement... moved me to the edge of tears. And seeing people celebrating the music that I have loved for 26 years in Spike Lee's street party really did it. I cried. And I cried. And I realised that Prince was not family. But he was. He has been with me when I've been happy and when I've been sad. I've shared him with the people I love. I was always looking forward to knowing from him. And he drove me mad almost as often as he made me love him unconditionally. If that's not family, what is?

Now the focus is going to be on the why of his passing, but I don't care. The only things that matter to me now is all the music he will never create and, more importantly, all the music that that he gave us.

Eye wish U heaven, Prince. Again, thank you for everything.

Haven't been here in a long while - but felt the need to be as near to him as possible. Thanks Ben for being here.

I just got over the flu/pneumonia myself and it kicked the sheit outta me. And what I can't get out of my mind today is the warning my Dr. gave me about the expectorant cough syrup I was taking and how it can be lethal and has killed millions when mixed with other flu meds or any meds for that matter. I think this is exactly what may have happened to P. Accidental overdose.

The world has lost the most magical spirit I have ever known. Just saying thank you Prince for all that he gave isn't enough - but my soul is numb today and I feel exhausted from so many tears.

It is over. But it has begun. The vast musical legacy and art live 4ever. I hope some of u got to go to Paisley. Amazing and shocking to see how many people admired him--everybody. Lots of amazing trubutes in the usually wack media. Sheila was really good today.

The elevator stuff is messing me up. The April stuff too. The rainbow, it is all so surreal. God is certainly real but why did he take our bud?

Hope all the new fans who buy those records get it this time. We all knew for years. I'm still in denial.

Much love, even for the haters.

All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!
