Tupac penned a love letter in 1988 that mentions being a huge fan of Prince

Cool letter! Not new information, though. 'Pac had mentioned bring a huge fan in interviews, and of course there's at least 7 or 8 songs he did that sample P/The Time. |

Interesting. Did P and Tupac ever meet?......I remember Tupac said that if P no longer wants his name then he would take it..(this was back in the symbol days).

Yes. In the early 90s, can't remember when exactly. Tupac played a show in Minneapolis and Prince invited him and his crew to Paisley Park. The party was held in the atrium, as most were then. People were smoking weed and knocking pictures off the wall. They may have met before then, though. TRUE BLUE

"Knocking pictures off the wall"...? By by being high and/or drunk and acting a fool? If so I guess they were not invited back again?

And P was cool with this? Im sure at some point Prince has known about drug use within the walls of PP. He might of been cool about it; who knows? klick

I doubt that he was cool with it, but I guess they weren't going to try and throw them all out. That probably would have made it worse. I think George Clinton used to smoke pot in the studio while he was recording there. I can't remember if George said that, or someone else may have told that. TRUE BLUE

Third line before the signature, it says: "We have so much in common. We both Prince."

Even without that line, you could tell by the Princebonics.

I remember going to a Gold Experience show at Glam Slam West in L.A. and seing this short guy dancing with two girls and smoking weed on the dance floor. I turned to my buddy and said "who does this guy think he is?" My friend said "he's Tupac". "Oh" I said. It's funny, I didn't care for his music at the time but have become a big fan of his since.

Are we sure Prince didnt write this? Just kidding...but the seagulls and eyeballs and hearts look like the handwritten Around the World in a Day lyrics we've all seen. Well, kinda... Make it so, Number One...
