HnRII has a Distinct Vibe: Any thoughts on an Alternate Title? Finally got my physical copy from Electric Fetus, so still digesting but i'm several listens in now and I must say, the album has a distinctive FEEL. This "band" and the elements it has might be the most musical since TRC. I'm afraid making the a HnR Release will not only NOT get the album the attention it deserves from the mainstream but amongst fans, it'll arguably be viewed as a "vault cleaning" exercise. Even the reworked Screwdriver and Xtraloveable fit SONICALLY now even if not content wise (though the latter might be THE definition of "overproduced").I found myself thinking, what would be another, a BETTER name for this rather "mature" and reflective collection? (Trolls be gone) Does any ONE song fit it best (he has often had a title track)? Or does something else best summarize it? Revelation? Black Muse? (My main complaint btw? The "sexy dancer" chants ruin Stare for me. They go on 20x too long) | |

Just a note: the mix might be slightly different, but these are not "reworked" versions of Screwdriver and Xtraloveable-- they are the same recordings that were released in early 2013. | |

This is true.
Maybe datdude had only heard the other versions of these tracks. Screwdriver live, or remix and the Andy Allo rap version of Extraloveable.

I thought about Black Muse as a title as well. Its a great track, but Groovy Potential might speak to more of the songs in a "general" sense though i'm not sold on it
(I only had the Screwdriver Remix as a download and only HEARD the other version a few times. I'd only HEARD the Xtraloveable "reloaded" once or so, but didn't download it. They sound like the NPG band he assembled embellished them in some way. I'll concede wrongness on this but meanwhile...) | |

It's too bad it's title is "Hitnrun Phase 2", because it's a solid, solid album that deserves to stand on its own. Not buried in a series, or related to "Phase 1" in any way. "Revelation" would be a good title. "Black Muse" is a great song, not a great album title. This album deserves room to breathe- so I hope Phase 3 doesn't come out till summer. | |

I think the old releases sounded like they were mastered a bit harder or louder, but haven't checked waveforms to compare. The new ones sound a bit softer with more dynamic range to me.

"Big City" has a nice ring to it as an album title I feel. Consider: 'Concert goers were issued with a copy of Princes' "Big City" album upon exiting the theatre'.
