Oh I get it. In the context of their relationship, there might have been no hard feelings. Still I don't know if there is ever an apporpriate situation, in which one guy can have his bodyguard assault his GF for talking back to him. IIRC, I read that Vanity left Prince due to general mistreatment and disrespect. For all we know, especially given her Pre-Prince history, this might have been a traumatic experience for her. Thrown away like trash. For me it's more evidence in the 'Prince beats women' pile.

The "You can't, you're too little." sounds like Vanity was getting hers in too. They didn't always bring out the best in each other, it seems.

When he has her thrown in the pool, at that moment, she really has no other options really than to nervously laugh it off, or play along with it, which I assume she did. Her career is over if if she calls the cops. But internally, was it another 'I'm nothing moment' for her?

honestly not wanting to be negative. but i think he will get some negative press and reaction down the line if he and the promoters continue to charge the amount they are for decent seats for 80 mins concerts. Maybe not in austrailia but certainly in europe and the states. The good thing is that it is early days for these shows/ concept, so hopefully,they will change it! Not really....If Prince was doing an arena or stadium tour you would have a point. But whenever a superstar act does small venues you can expect high ticket prices. As for fans balking at the 80 to 90 minute shows? Given that Prince is the only musician/vocalist onstage (he's not being backed by a band which would give him the luxuary to take a breather from time to time), its a no brainer that such a show would be shorter given he's doing two gigs a night.

Totally agree. Not like it's a run of the mill greatest hits show with medleys that we've all seen before. Looking at the set-lists and the clips floating round, its so unique I'd have no problem paying more than usual.

Well you could add a extra night. Most people just want to feel that they have had value for money these days. As great as the concert might be in the time hes on. I would feel a little short changed and im a big fan. Long term, hardcore fans are going to lap these shows up with all the probable bootlegs that are going to surface if he keeps touring with it.

For sure he like the money. But in this scenario 2 shows a night seems warranted. 90 minutes seems appropriate for this style of show, it's just him doing all the work/vocals. Seems like a lot for one person.

I understand, but I didn't get to go so I definitely think everyone who went got their moneys worth. A longer show with more days added means triple/quadruple more work for Prince and being away from home for twice as long or more. I guess he didn't want to do that.
