Why not, right? I posted one on ebay and had no idea that it would fetch the prices it is getting. I'd be more than happy to get one for someone who wants it at cost. $15 Just orgnote me quickly so I have an idea how many I need to get, that is if they are still selling them tonight. Just note shipping internationally is around $32 for priority and $22 for first class. Also, I only have so much cash on hand and they don't take credit cards.

Priority international from the states is expensive so that price sounds about right. First class however should be a lot less. You can see for yourself here how much it costs to mail a single CD (around six ounces in weight).

I remember seeing 20Ten on eBay at crazy prices, waited a couple weeks, and grabbed one for about $20. Unless all Prince's copies were sold at the shows to scalpers, we'll be able to get it at a reasonable price.

On that note, why be mad at the scalper? They paid for tickets, possibly travel, the CDs... let them make some money back from those that can't wait. Be mad at Prince for not making it available to all at a reasonable price. He's the guy that got creative about preventing scalpers from making a killing off tickets to his shows, then he creates a situation where scalpers can make a killing off his CDs. Seems like this is on him to me.

I have an original Goldnigga CD with Guess Who's Knockin' that I bought from 1-800-NEW-FUNK for about $20. If I was to sell it (which I won't) I assure you that the buyer would be paying at least 10 times what it cost me. Supply. And. Demand.

We found the CD at a Belgian petrol station and bought the paper. (that had the CD).

We were somewhat underwhelmed. But that may be due to the circumstances: lack of proper sleep, car, etc.

The Goldnigga CD I got in Gent (Belgium) for the normal price. (back then....)

I would trade true fans for the same price if I could get stuff for them.

I remember making a fair bit of money selling copies of 20Ten for a lot more than the price of a crappy newspaper. Did I feel bad? Not one fucking jot! I did give quite a few copies away to people in the US too though.

Like others have said, supply and demand. It probably won't last, once this atrocity is in the shops it won't be worth the shit it's printed on.

I think Gene Simmons sums it up pretty well. Prince would probably agree. Then again, both of them are not exactly doing what Bob Dylan is still doing........writing decent music. So nobody would buy it anyway.

To be honest I don't think it will happen. It should've been out by now. He could have just put it up for sale on his 3rdeyetunes...

he answered fans on twitter asking if it wouldbe released... i posted it in the major distribution thread.. i don't think it will be released either...

why not just do mail order from the park...
