The vocal version is ok. P woulda really souled it . Reminds me of 1 of those lame jazz songs with the horn player as the artist featuring somebody or something (). For all time I am with you, you are with me.

If new music had not happened since the early 80s I'd find this pretty cool. Unfortunately all kinds of stuff happened.

I like it, but now it's an earworm and I can't stop humming it. What?

Sounds pretty average to me. Singing is not in the pocket. Lyrics are atrocious. Sorry, boys. You can't go from Phase 2 down to this. And certainly not while Bowie's kicking your ass from beyond. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

. Didn't we notice a trend some time ago? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Heard the vocal version. Maybe I need more listens but why do I get a `muzak` experience out of this? Like in elevator music? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I only save the "jingle" keyboard in instrumental version. But it is a poor track.

. Perhaps a guitar solo towards the end would work. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

It's getting weirder, now on Tidal it is still listed under Mono Neon but has a tag with artist Prince. And it's not in the store anymore.

i don't know what he actually sings, but i love it when the lyrics sound like: and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Sounds similar to those 3EG Livestream tracks like Octopus Heart. I thought those were decent but I'm not feeling this one. Especially with that vocoder throughout the whole song. The instrumental is better but still not very exciting at all. "Hey, I got the butta 4 ya muffin, honey.. I'm just 2 old 2 hold the knife!"

Both versions are good, neither is great. I prefer the vocal version over the instrumental. Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors.

Only got the instrumental - which I like a lot - a slow, quirky funk-jam. Reminds me of "Scarlet Pussy" with a tad of "Dead on it".

Just heard the vocoder version - not a fan - instrumental's far better imo.

I emailed Tidal because I listened to the vocal version in the store but when purchased I got the instrumental. Just got below reply. The plot thickens but good to see Bart being polite for a change: . . TIDAL Support [BC] (TIDAL)

I've got to give a thumbs down for this one. No point in having one of the most hyped bassplayers around in your band when you continue to record these fairly grooveless, midtempo plodders one after another. At least increase the tempo on these type of pieces if you can't otherwise introduce more energy to them.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but this groove sounds a lot like Roger Troutman and The Zapp Band. I dig it! [Edited 1/14/16 6:56am] klick
