If I search ruff enuff, a return comes back as 'RUFF ENUFF - Prince'. It plays and all. If I searn mono-neon, a return cones back as 'RUFF ENUFF MONONEON'. It plays but is exactly like the other one. The Prince on doesn't show on his tab or nothing though. They need to straighten this all out.

Yes, there is defo a fuck up. When I play it in the store it plays the vocal version but as I say when I've bought it - its the instrumental one.

I've emailed Tidal so see what they come back with...

.

The vocal version reminds me of GCS 'Now Do U Wanta Dance' - I like it.

I noticed the same thing indeed!

Also strange that Prince did not mention or announce the track on twitter yesterday. Haven't seen him on there at all. You would expect him to do that after his teasers last week.

So far I've see. 'RUFF ENUFF MONO NEON,' RUFF ENUFF - Prince RUFF ENUFF,' and 'RUFF ENUFF - Prince'.

Also...MonoNeon has two Tidal tabs. One under MONONEON, Which has 2 of his old albums and no ruff enuff. Then there's MONO NEON, which only has RUFF ENUFF.

It appears Prince tasked the person who normally just cleans the doves cages with the task of forwarding the trax and track info over to Tidal.

I listened to it once and that is enough for me. I really hope this is a side project and not on the the next Prince album.

Same here, I won't listen to it again. I finally heard both versions but the song is bland and boring. A huge disappointment after the great Phase 2

I can only access the instrumental version on the Tidal app anyway. No vocal version comes up for me at all...

I had to force-close the app on my iPhone in order to get the new version to load.

This is great, not sure if I prefer the instrumental or the vocal version, at the minute I play them back to back.

How do you force close the app? I tried to close out and open back up, but it still plays the older version. It's kind of funny...on my personal iPhone, it loaded the new version. I then saved that file in a playlist within Tidal. Then opened Tidal on my work iPhone and went to that same playlist. When I did, played the older version. Confusing...

It sounds like the groove of 'If A Girl Answers (Don't Hang Up)'

More incidental music than anything really. I'd like to hear a fully fledged Madhouse-style effort from this band though.

Nevermind. Figured it out. Force closing didn't work. I had to actually delet the app...reload the app...sign back in...then it loaded the new version. What a pain though...

Do we reckon this will be the final vocal? This could end up being a nice little funk track, and with added guitars and a good vocal arrangement I might really enjoy it, but this vocoder effect (or whatever it's called) is incredibly irritating.

Also, and this is a Tidal thing: $1.29 is not £1.29 but 89 pence. Additionally, if the preview for the track I want to buy plays the vocal version I expect to be able to download the vocal version, not the instrumental one.

I had ruff enff saved for offline mode. Once I took it out of offline mode and tried to listen again, the vocal version came on.

Luckily I had downloaded the instrumental version via another avenue.

Not digging this. I always look forward to more interesting instrumental stuff he puts out, but this is really plodding and pedestrian imo. Sometimes a jam is just a jam, noodling is noodling.

Those vocals and lyrics are terrible. Never been a fan of the vocoder.
