Prince - Returning 2 Idol for final season?

Prince is going to be on American Idol again I just saw the finale season commercial & Prince was on the guest list biggrin I was just wondering has anyone seen the Foxtel add yet besides me & if so what are your thoughts on Princes return ?

Unfortunately there is no online links to the add but it appears on Fox8 on Foxtel in Australia don't know what it would be seen on in USA though Prince's name appears after Rihanna & just before Kiss if that helps

It the choice of songs/artists that the contestants are choosing from.

I've reviewed the opening broadcast sequence for this Farewell Season and some other trailers. I have tried to view a Foxtel sequence for Australia but restrictions prevent me accessing.

Whilst it's quite possible that footage of Prince and / or his name might appear in such a trailer, this final season is also going to include a review of the past seasons which will quite possibly include a re-run of past guest appearances, including the Prince Finale appearance from 2006 (just as it might include past guest appearances from Kiss and Rihanna, whose names have also been referenced).

So at this stage, I think we should treat this as speculation, based on the report of his name in a trailer as a guest (possibly previous guest) and I have amended the thread title accordingly.

Any further clarification appreciated.

I don't know what the most depressing thing is about this. The fact that he's not going to show up or that the contestants are choosing Prince songs to sing neutral . Stick to other artists, thank you very much. His legacy aren't to be touched.
