Yay!! 1996 in DA HOWSE!! Sell cd's direct to consumers and bypass all those evil middlemen. From the looks of that twitter page, Prince don't understand economics too good. Meanwhile I just got Babyface's new album for like $7, it's clearly vault material and fantastic. DOYOTHANGPRINCE!

i don't understand why prince is now acting like it is, indeed, 1996. he tried probably every

single option in releasing albums that there is, and somehow wasn't satisfied with any of
them. not only that, but time and again he's asked for his fans' trust and good will to help
out in these projects or invest in them, only to ultimately disappoint them and leave them

feeling short changed (crystal ball, lifelong memberships npg, lotusflower, etc etc).

i'm at the point where i'll buy his music the day it's released. either as downloads or as a
physical release. either way is fine with me.

i'm also at the point where i won't invest $ 5,- anymore in another prince ego-venture. i'm
a fan of his music, probably always will be, but jeez does he make it hard to care anymore.

If his fans are saying "don't be a douchebag and make it easy for us to access your music" then nobody is mocking him, they are merely telling him they are over the bullshit and he should think of his fans again.
