re-issues do nothing for me, I already have the music, and it sounds just fine, I would rather vault stuff/new stuff.

isn't this what TLC is using to fund their upcoming album? I'm surprised that Prince doesn't do this for all of his new music He would be able to record,promote and distribute his music with no help from the major record companies.
