PrintableIdk, it's just a little irksome to see a legend (whom she has both referenced, promoted, and thanked) look down upon new talent in such a condescending way. And yes, she is talented (whether you - or he - likes her music or not). She can sing, dance, play instruments, act, and does have a very hands-on approach to her craft (makeing the "carrying the torch" comment less out of left field). What is completely outrageous are the "racist" claims and the fact that cLittle Dumpsters are attacking him.

No one here can diss the quality of the music of any artist as Prince has been beneath most every top pop artist for the past 20 years or so. I'm not saying this in a spiteful way, just truthful. Lady Gaga, like most artists today hire the best of the best at the time, and they are far better than Prince today. Today's prince music and for the past 20-30 years has been pretty fn bad. I love him for his legacy music and the potential he still has. People praising crap like AOA and diss lady Gaga are stuck in a time and space warp. Or just plain Warped. | |

Maybe they have no life as such.Love Prince to death, but what other artists do is none of his business. Besides, how would he feel if folks went around tweeting court papers showing the number of times that he's been accused of and sometimes found guilty of stealing other's compositions? Pot - kettle and such. Not to mention just plain bad form and conduct unbecoming of an icon. | |
