I don't think I've ever seen this track discussed, but it's one of my favorite unreleased songs and perhaps one of my favorite songs period. It's so ethereal and just plain brilliant. I just wish I had a clear copy because the one I have has a lot of hiss.

I always skip the last three minutes of instrumental but it is excellent. I love that scream its one of his best. The adlibs are amazing! The one we all have has a lot of hiss but do you listen to the one that the guy on yourlisten made with a digital remaster few months ago? Its so much better than the leak i didnt realise fans with software could do stuff like that

One of my favorites and holds a special place in that it was one of the first boots I heard when I came back into my love of all things Prince

Yeah, I had a friend in high school who was a big Prince fan, yet he'd cut out a lot of the long instrumental sections. I never could understand that.

It's fantastic, love the lyrics and beat especially, would love to hear it in full quality as the version currently out there is quite 'hissy'.

I agree that it would've fit perfectly on Lovesexy. I was surprised that it was recorded a few years beforehand.

The one with the fake intro, looped from the middle of the song? That one has bad hiss too.

The best is the crystal clear copy of the original version, even if it starts a bit sudden

I agree!! I've never been crazy about "Dance On".The song "Heaven" would have fit perfectly.

I think I prefer it like that, the one im talking about is 7:13. I remember waiting badly for a pristine teacher, teacher and then when i got it for some reason i just didnt really like it. theres something about having the quslity a bit off to a song you already know its like you arent supposed to hear it in a way

That's what I'm saying. Voice is just another instrument. IDK it's like sayin' I don't like saxophone. It really depends who plays and why and how.
