A revamped discussion on the most definitive bootleg set

I've heard a lot of good things about Work It . . what's the difference between Work It and Work It 2.0 ?

Then there's Anthology which I've heard about but haven't seen, it's 50 discs . . how does that compare?

Has anything come out since?

Careful, Militant will lock the thread down. He doesnt believe in having a conversation about something that has been talked about before.

Anyway, theyre good compilations to have. You inevitably have everything and the kitchen sink thrown in so the sound quality is all over the place. But if youre a Prince fan, then must haves really. Better quality recordings have emerged since for quite a few songs, but it shouldnt detract from getting them. I once embarked on a project to replace songs with better quality versions for The Work series a few years ago, but gave up. It was way to much like hard work and just got confusing. I am happy just to have several copies of songs scattered about my hard drive, although sometimes I dont know if I am always listening to the best copy when I play something.

That's a very close-minded way to look at things. We're talking about someone who's glory years are over 30 years ago now and this is a forum that has been around a long time and is constantly attracting new members who would have plenty of new perspective to add to discussions that have already been had.

I saw the post about the Anthology set on here but was not able to respond to that thread

To avoid that, just mention his selfies and if bootlegs can help his musical career?

That way you'll get away with it.
