The 15 September 1988 LOVESEXY show from Bloomington’s Met Center contains several guest spots with Mavis Staples, George Clinton, Susannah, Wendy & Lisa. Did someone mention that Tony LeMans guested on this one, too? I know that PrinceVault does NOT list him as another guest that night, but listening to the ending of Clinton’s P-Funk medley, Prince seems to call out Clinton’s name multiple times PLUS something that kinda sounds like "Tony LeMans". Could someone please tell me what it is that Prince says there … whether it be LeMans or not? I can’t bring myself to hearing anything else. Or was anyone there that evening who could rule out LeMans simply by recalling the event? Most likely I’m just mishearing this, but who knows? At least LeMans didn’t die until 1992, so it wouldn’t be totally impossible. Thanx already … and sorry for any unwanted irritation if this should prove to be totally unsubstantial!

I've listened back and it appears to confirm what was recorded in Per Nilsen's, 'The Vault' - guesting with George Clinton were Jill Jones and Tony LeMans.

Towards the end of the section to which you refer, Prince appears to call out - 'George Clinton, Jill Jones, Tony LeMans' at least twice.

I'll look into amending 'PrinceVault' and let you know if there is anything which suggests The Vault's information was simply based on the recording (which I agree is not the most clear) and if further verification is sought.

I thought this was fairly common knowledge in the community. I get all nostalgic when I hear that Prince compared to Hit n Run Prince
