I'm not proud of the fact that I actually like this one.

I think Josh's production works better with Curly Fryz than with Prince, tho.

Did nobody else hear "Beginning Endlessly"? I'm sure, the guitar in the refrain from Like a Mack is the same like the guitar near the end of Beginning Endlessly.

If Prince was interested in making an assault on the singles chart then this is the song to go with. Its accessible, catchy and has a couple of young, hot birds strutting their stuff. It could be released as Josh And His Curly Frys (Featuring Prince) in order to get around the ageism in radio.

Yes, I hear it! Sounds like very similar licks.

.

On first listen this done nothing for me at all but its surprisingly grown on me quite a bit. Catchy summer time feel to it.

This is me. Everything about this song screams 'NO! DIE! NO DIE!' but I'm kinda groovin' to it. And it's one of 3/4 songs I come back to the album for. I hate myself.

Awww... pat

Every additional, inadvertent listen, helps me dislike it more. Mostly its the nails-on-chalkboard 'hook'. I can't tell if it's a guitar or key riff. Either way it grates. The rapping for me, is entirely unremarkable. Nothing about this song entices me. When I listen to the record in 'offline' mode in my car, I never feel better about having heard it. I get mad that I forgot to utilize the 'offline' playlist I made that doesn't include this song, fallinlove2nite, and Mr. Nelson.

Yeah.......I don't get all the rapping. I would have been happy with one verse by Fryz or one verse by Prince or maybe they could have combined their efforts with one verse. It ruins the flow of the song to have too many rap parts. And I think if it had started out with horns and ended with horns it would habe been better but the addition of horns at the end, like you said, does not fit well.

This track bumps. I liked this one the first time I heard it. Curly Fryz can flow, the beat is hot, and this is one I can hear in dance clubs. This is definately a song I can hear on the radio. Love this track!

This is probably my least favorite track on the album after FAL2. I def hear the rif from BE, as mentioned above. I was wondering where it came from b/c it sounded so familiar, so thanks for helping me on that one wink

i do love the horns in this song, the guitar rif & the delivery, but the song itself is meh compared to the rest of the album imo.

This reminds me a bit of a '90s style song for some reason. I think it is the mix of live horns, synth bass and slightly less EDM beat compared to the first 3 tracks, and the way the chorus hands off to a horn line.

I like the Curly Fries on it, they do a good job and have a Rhianna style to them. There is a bit where they harmonise on "show me what you got" that reminds me of a Lady Gaga track.

The messing around with vocals is a bit annoying, the pitch shifting on the "looking, looking, looking, looking like a mack" is distracting.

It has a pretty well planned out structure compared to, say, Shut This Down, so some thought has gone in to this, and I could see Prince being a bit more involved than he seems to be on the first three tracks. It is a deliberate attempt to craft a pop song in a way that he hasn't done for a long time.

This song is cheese and ruins whatever coolness the album might have had going, but I don't exactly hate it. I kind of like Prince's energy in the vocals, and Curly Fries is okay. I don't like the guitar, though, because it feels stale

Rihanna is NOT on this track. Stop spreading false rumours. The rap is by the Curly Fryz duo.

The 'rudeboy edit' of this song, if you can find it, puts the guitar and horns up first in the song. To me they are the best parts of the song, but in the original they seem kind of all over the place. If I had not found this version, I would not have enjoyed it as much. People say this album sounds like Josh is breathing life into Prince. But to me, it sounds more like a Josh album with Prince doing guest raps, vocals and some guitar work.

This was one of the songs I wasn't too sure about on first listen, but it's grown on me a LOT.
