perhaps, just maybe prince has social anxiety disorder, and is not always able to commingle with guests at PP or people in general and the whole experience is too overwhelming.
were that he did, would you still think he was an asshole for not showing up to the PP parties, or parties/gatherings in general?

he didn't have social anxiety when he performed for over 100,000 people at the rock in rio event, the largest audience he ever performed to.

performing is different. you really don't have to interact (i mean you should but even then it's completely on your terms).

For any huge, one-of-the-greatest performers, they can be shy. But once they get up on that stage, they become a different person. ”The people that will end up defining ‘Hate Speech Laws’ are the very people you don’t want to define the Hate Speech Laws” — Jordan B Peterson

This is just a mid life crisis. I think its about his 3rd one. He just needs a reality check from someone who lives in the real world. A metaphorical slap, so to speak. He should probably come and stay at my place for a few months and hear me say the word "No" to him throughout the day, consistently. It might stop the unreasonable creation of turds like FIL2N ending up on albums due to the word "yes" being used around him adnausium.

. he's not an asshole either way. are you aware that fans chased him on saturday night? i didn't see it happen but he was swarmed a couple of time. he's smart to stay away

but if you think about it through the years, he's never really been a mingler. he has a few people around whom he's comfortable. i get it. hosting a big ass party and having to be nice and talk and be social sounds exhausting (to me).

He might have social anxiety disorder or just be an introvert. Especially in his own space, like the Park. He's a human. And some of the people who go to the Park really crowd him at times. It's made me uncomfortable as an observer. I can't even imagine how creeped out he must feel! "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

it's also probably why he didn't talk to me when we finally came face to face?

He (accidentally...maybe) elbowed me in the ribs one time. Best move he ever made. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"
