There's no confirmation anywhere. The date has been in the air for many weeks now. FNAC said Sept 15 then changed it to Oct 15 then back to September 15... On Hits Daily Double there is no indication on a physical release date yet... I guess we will know everything after the release of HitNRun on TIDAL.

I will wait for the CD. Call me old but I like having something tangible in my hand that is a readily transferable and flawless medium to use inside and outside my lair.

CD's are universal.CD's from France will play like normal in the United States.

This reminds me I still didn't buy AOA and PE. Eek.

£5 seems still too high though, Chrissie list it is for them I guess.

Oh, I just checked the French Amazon page for the CD-- it now says Sept 25, which is a Friday, so things are falling into place...

Like, if this is true, who on earth is Prince's manager / publicist? How can an album be released in a little more than ten days time and no one knows about it (the physical release that is)?

I like the good old days when a single was released before the album (which got some airplay), the album came out, and a tour was done to promote it (the tour being done pretty much at the time the album came out).

I thought this had been withdrawn or something? A user on another thread said they work at a record store and there is no supply listing for orders for HitNRun at all available.

Josh Welton confirmed a physical release on SEPT 14 for the U.S.

Also it's on billboards all over L.A. and New York City.

SEPT 14 is the U.S. RELEASE DATE.

Yes, it will be physical released. In Germany you´ll get it from Sept 14 th on Amazon and other Retailers. The question is, will it be released on vinyl?
