off topic but its sort of sad people joke about the illuminati (its not like its called the illuminati and i highly doubt a musician like jay-z is part of it but profits from using its mystique in his identity) but are some people not stupid enough to realize there are a group of a thousand or so elites that regularly conspire against the population of the planet? admitedly the term 'conspiracy THEORY' pulled me off looking at these 'theories' for all my life because i thought it was all BS. but its sort of amazing how much this stuff is backed up by evidence. I feel really stupid buying the whole 'terroist' narrative we've been fed since 9/11. its just a coincidence that the US dollars relies on oil to survive and that we make billions of oil in these illegal middle east wars guys! This documentary about princess dianas death has been banned in the UK and USA and i highly recommend it for anyone willing to open their mind about the world we live in. Normally I like the extensiveness and length of your posts, Databank. You seem like an informed person when it comes down to Prince's music and I always enjoy your insights. Here however you can not produce more than "lock this thread" and ridicule what otherwise is, at least for some, a very interesting topic. And besides Prince being or not being part of elite circles who care for the planet (and therefore definately have ideas how the planet ideally should look like), power structures and "the few ruling the many" is a topic that should concern ANY critical-independent-minded thinker. Agree though that this maybe is something that belongs in the Politics and Religion section, since the average "fam" probably doesn't think longer than "when is the next album coming out"? P's career is however is undoubtly drenched in symbolism that is used by esoteric "illuminated" circles (fx. Freemasonary).

I also happen to be an informed person about the world outside of Prince and that's enough to know that the word "illuminati" refers to something that does not exist any more than the Loch Ness Monster, God creating the world in seven days or the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The fact that nowadays, thanks to the internet, more and more naive people are willing and able to give some credit to, or believe, the delusions of a bunch of manipulative and mentally insane people who spread those conspiracy theories online does not make such theories "a very interesting topic" in my book, and I consider it my moral duty to violently oppose lies and irrationality everytime I see them popping-up in an online community I belong to, as an act of citizenship.

Those conspiracy theories are virtually killing-off democracy and freedom of speech, I wrote several articles on that but unfortunately they're in French, or I'd be happy to share them, but to make a long story short what we see for the first time in History is civil populations brainwashing themselves through uncontrolled viral propaganda, and the mere belief that the world is in the hands of a secret elite makes any attempt to change/improve it or even voting irrelevent, since anyway it wouldn't change anything.
