I'm an Android user, as it's the best and most powerful mobile operating system. But I do have an iPad as well, so I'm an iOS user too.

This is interesting news though.

All that happened was probably that Prince wanted to renegotiate his streaming terms. Now it's all been sorted, and all is well. As usual, everybody here made a massive fuss over what was probably a very minor thing

I have an android phone, and it's ok. The OS is very customisable.

But, I much prefer my iOS devices. The apps on Android are meh.
But as far as the music services go, I like Apple music, and love the DJ sets in comparison to Spotify's stuff.

I still like to own my music, though.

There's a strongly held belief that Apple Music ought to be separated from iTunes. Bundling it inside iTunes is messy - and iTunes itself is buggy, slow and based on some pretty archaic code at this point in time.

Several UI designers have made some great mockups of what it could look like as a separate product, and I think it'd be much better. In order to seriously compete with Spotify, that's a step that should be taken. Spotify's web version works in any browser, wherever you are. Same with Google Play Music.

By the way, I'm not an android user.

Given that it's the first release I am happy with Apple Music thus far. It will keep getting better. Interface is nice and I find the curated playlists based on my interests are spot on thus far.

That's what really impessed me straight away. The currated playlist almost appear to read my mind.

Check out the free trial of Google Play Music. I find their playlists to be better.

Come on, lets show some love for Windows Phone as a mobile OS, and Windows 10 for an every-device-under-the-sun OS.

As for the music stores, I cant say because my country is blocked by all of them. So Prince being on any of them, or not, has no bearing on things over here. I wonder how aware artists are of how much of the world is blocked from these services and whether they care? Artists used to be able to sell albums in every corner of the earrth, and the likes of MJ did just that. I wonder how fewer Thriller albums wouyld have been sold if many of the third world countries were not allowed to buy it?
